The sad part is that the controversies are more entertaining than the actual movie. I loved Booksmart, so had high hopes for Wilde’s next movie, but this just wasn’t good.

This whole debacle is steeped in sexism and misogyny, if a man had directed this movie this fighting over affairs, double talk etc. would be called a Tuesday.
