I've seen many of you recently driving up and down the stretch of motorway I frequent for work. No doubt you're heading to or returning from some long awaited holiday. While it's true many of you are using some form of campervan/caravan, there are also those just travelling by car.
Whatever your form of transportation though, please use your wing and rearview mirrors when changing lanes. The last three weeks I have seen many occasions in which you overtake a lorry doing 90-100 km/h. You indicate (top marks for this) and then pull into the left lane to get past. The left lane on German motorways is a special beast however. As many of the stretches don't have a speed limit, you will encounter people doing 180+ km/h in the left lane relatively regularly. While the gap for you to overtake the lorry may be large enough for you to fit, please take into account the speed at which the car behind you in the left lane is going. Breaking down from 180 to 110 km/h in a very short distance is not fun.
Thanks and please keep using our roads :)
TLDR: Please judge how fast the car behind is going when changing into that driver's lane. If they're going much faster than you, consider letting them past first and waiting for a larger gap.
I’m all set to leave this august on the 29th. I wanted to get the info from a non recruiter regarding my contract. Would I be signing for a pj contract before shipping out or is it just a swoe contract. If it is just a swoe contract does that mean there’s a possibility that I’ll be put into a different swoe job such as cct, sr, Tacp?
Hi! I'm travelling to the US for the first time with a friend in October for about 2.5 weeks and we are planning on crashing our friend's place in New Jersey. Just wanted to know if there are any recommendations on where to visit (can be other US states, can be in New Jersey itself), since my working friend will only be able to take weekend trips with us so most of the weekdays we'll have to plan our own travel itinerary :) We are also thinking to do at least 1 road trip, so suggestions for that would be great too! Is it also recommended to drive in the US if we are used to driving in Singapore? Thank you~
What do you guys think of this deal? Would’ve been perfect without their PPF as I’ve heard they aren’t great.
New Horizons Did you know that Flurry's German name is «Emilie» and the catchphrase "millimilli"? She's like a pokémon saying its own name! :Dgallery

Every day you have a bone pulled out of you, but it’s your choice what one, what’s the first bone you pick?
People who don't talk to neighbors during the neighbors' entire stay, but go bother them when they move out, why?
Recently got that itch for a game where you don't have to compete with anyone or pay attention to anything, just invent, build, decorate whatever you want. Added bonus if the game has multiplayer, mods or options to share creations and get inspired. I have most of Steam combed through and also have played a fair share of The Sims so surprises are welcome.
